200 Strand Lighting dmx board lcd not working?
Hello Im trying to use a Strand Lighting 200 Dmx dimmer board, it works fine except when i try to use the functions involving the LCD screen..? It either displays black bars or a load of junk eg. 02k3j2ji%&**&$%£RGDFGHJDH. Something like that anyway. If anyone knows how to fix it or any help at all please tell me.

Generally a LCD screen is only used for controlling intelligent devices (ie Moving Heads, Hazers, Scrollers, ect.) So if you don't have any intelligent lights attached to the desk then the LCD may not work! This is not the case in all boards though, if it is not this problem, then it could be 2 other things...
1) There is interference in the Dimmer rack or DMX Cable. You should check that all your DMX cables are in the right ports and that they are secured!
2) Your Desk's LCD Screen is damaged. Depending on how delicate the board is, the screen may be damaged, if you think this is the case, then you should get the board repaired!
