I'm going to be using the mic for recording vocals. Specifically hip hop, rap, and r&b.
I also wonder can you tell me why you choose that mic.

Get the ribbon microphone, even if it is a Nady. Ribbon microphones are studio EXCELLENCE. You will never hear a better high frequency than with a ribbon microphone.
Strongly recommended.
